Dorothy Merritt, MD the founder of Southwest Wellness Solutions, Inc (SWWS) and has been practicing medicine in the Houston/Galveston area for over 20 years. Dr. Merritt is currently Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She has also trained extensively in heavy metal toxicity at the American College for Advancement in Medicine and completed comprehensive training in Environmental Medicine. Realizing the success achieved in her private practice with a variety of patients referred to her locally and from around the country, she harnessed her passion for wellness and the early detection and treatment of heavy metal toxicity related underlying patient conditions and aging to launch SWWS.
